Big kudos on a "small" project

And by small project we mean it was literally tiny - miniature, really.
You may recall the Small Things in Store for a Big Project post we did back in November on the miniature scene we were building for the Second Annual Equipment Roadeo. Well, the project is finished and it's fantastic.
We built an entire scene on a 27"x 27" piece of wood, covered it with Sculptamold (a paper-mache type substance) to build texture and hills. We then painted the ground, covered it with real dirt (collected from a Bernalillo County ditch bank) and completed the scene with trees, bushes, on-lookers on a bench, along with the "competitors" and tractors in the fenced-in "arena."
After the scene was built we printed a large sky backdrop and photographed the scene and backdrop as a whole. We then used the photograph in the design of the promotional materials - poster, invitation and banners - that the New Mexico Association of Counties used at their Winter Conference. The purpose of the items was to create awareness for the upcoming Second Annual Equipment Roadeo to be held at the NMAC Summer Conference in a few months.
We received much praise and positive feedback from County Commissioners, NMAC Staff and County Employees. We also hear that they also enjoyed playing with the tractors on the scene when nobody was looking.
