Hello everyone and a Happy New Year! We hope you had a lovely holiday season and are encouraged, motivated, and excited about the new year ahead. We wish you all health and success for 2009.
For those of you who check our site with any regularity, you've probably noticed a lack of updates. That typically raises the question of, "What are those guys up to?" The question, rather, is what aren't we up to?! We've really been super busy these days. As you recall, Juanma and Martin joined the Albuquerque team back in August for several weeks. We can't disclose specific details as to why at this time other than it was because a couple new major projects required it. One such project is for a new client in Phoenix, AZ. We were also able to steal away a few days for some hang time in Las Vegas, NV prior to that meeting. Those guys also made stops in NYC and Miami before heading back to Asuncion. Good times. Pics to come.
In addition to having many new projects on the table (pretty much the reason for the virtual silence), in October of last year, Partner and Client Services Director, Celia Garcia moved and established a communications base in Madison, Wisconsin. This strategic endeavor comes at a time when our company (and the industry as a whole) is embracing the truth that times are changing, the world is flat, and a big building with dozens of employees does not necessarily equate to success--nor does it produce better work. Functioning as a virtual agency expands our reach and talent bandwidth, all while maintaining the same level of excellence, team involvement, and communication. And having worked for an agency in Chicago several years ago, Celia is quite familiar with the industry and needs in that region. We truly couldn't be more excited with this move and will certainly keep you posted.
So there's a lot going on with SUM these days. Big changes, many new awesome clients and projects, and a lot of excitement.
So that's it for now! A few of our current projects are near completion so keep an eye out for a portfolio update. We're also planning a nice lil surprise in the coming months so stay tuned for that as well.
Blessings and have an awesome year everyone!
